WilliamsThe Post Newspaper EditorTwo area high school baseball players recently received the honor of making the 2022 Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association's Elite All-Star teams.Clear Creek pitcher Collin McKinney and Friendswood catcher Dylan Maxcey were chosen to the select squads, with McKinney named to the Class 6A team, while Maxcey received a nod on the Class 5A team.McKinney, who committed to play baseball at Baylor, was the anchor of a Clear Creek team that overcame a 3-10-1 start to win the District 24-6A title and advance to the Region III-6A quarterfinals before being eliminated by Pearland.
