Whataburger is offering a free burger to Houston customers who make a donation to a local food bank as part of the Texas-based fast-food chain's annual fundraiser to help aid food insecurity, with help from the Houston Texans. Beginning Monday, diners can get a free Whataburger with a $1 donation to the Houston Food Bank. Customers will receive a "thank-you" coupon with their donation, although the coupon is only valid with purchase of a medium fry and a 32 oz drink. The offer will be available at any of the 150 Whataburger outposts across the city until Oct.
