Friendswood ISD officials will host the district's first 'Focus Team' meeting on Sept. 26. More than two dozen community members are set to attend to discuss education within the district. Two-minute impact In a letter sent out to parents of the district on Aug. 31, FISD officials announced a new committee, titled 'Friendswood ISD Focus,' which will invite 25 members within the community to discuss various aspects of education and learning through a handful of sessions throughout the school year.
