Friendswood was unable to protect a 17-7 second-half lead last week and eventually sustained a 23-20 overtime loss to the Stingarees. 'I felt like we played a complete game, but at the same time, we definitely left some big-time opportunities out there,' Johnson said. 'We didn't capitalize on numerous chances that could have made things look a lot differently.' Friendswood held a 10-0 edge in the first half, aided by a 21-yard touchdown pass from Brock Foster to Adam Buffington. Foster's one-yard plunge at 9:40 of the third quarter produced a 17-7 cushion.
