How does Notre Dame have any spots left in its 2023 class? It seems like Marcus Freeman is landing another commitment every day. Last Thursday, the Fighting Irish received a pledge from four-star linebacker Jaiden Ausberry of Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab. The irony isn't lost on anyone given Ausberry's father, Verge Ausberry, played linebacker for LSU in the late 1980s and is currently the executive deputy athletic director for the Tigers. Plus, former Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly is in his first year at LSU.
